What up guys!

It feels I been MIA for a while on here…Damn!! lol. Well I’m back and been trying to get back up shooting more with new people. The best part of it is being able to make new friends! That’s one reason why I love what I do lol. Anyways, meet Alex! This Texas beauty is fun to be around…trust me the shoot was fun lol! She’s hella down to earth, easy to talk to, and is a NATURAL at modeling!!

In the beginning, I could see she was tense, then as we progressed through the shoot, she became more relaxed and opened up more. Looking through the photos that night, I could see the stages of nervous to chill lol. She had mentioned to me the day before the shoot that she’s just starting up. For our first shoot, I didn’t wanna do too much guiding (I did end up guiding her through at some points lol) so that I could see how she does and if she’s just a natural at this. Then what do you know?! She surprised me and I knew she didn’t need much guidance haha.

Anyways, I’d would definitely love to work with Alex again in the future! Check out the rest of her photos from the shoot here and keep a look out for more model work from me in the future!

We’re Working On Shooting Together More Often

As the title state’s, my boo and I are working on shooting together more often because she’s getting more comfortable and getting used to posing for me in front of the camera. Plus I recently upgraded from a Canon T1i, which I had since circa 2010, to a Canon 80D, so I was excited to finally use my new camera for a shoot. For this shoot, it was a laid back/comfortable, regular type of outing kind of outfit. Brand new air force 1’s on her feet, distressed denim, and a tied cropped top. She loves putting outfits together and I thought she looked hella cute in this particular one lol so it basically was my request to shoot this one. Definitely more shoots to come in the near future with her but in the mean time, check out the rest of her photos and just keep a look out for new posts!

After 5 Months, We Finally Had A Day Off Together

Ever since coming back from Bali in October last year, we just been busy with work and conflicting schedules. Well this day, we happen to have the day off together so we didn’t let it go to waste so we shot a little bit before heading out to dinner. I definitely will be doing more shoots with Shaz. I mean she’s practically by my side 24/7 lol. Need to plan better and use more of our days off together.

Boutique Shoot For Pipe Dreams Surf Co

Recently did a boutique shoot for Pipe Dreams Surf Co (@pipedreams_surfer) with Anna (@lovealwaysannaa) & Kerah (@keeeraah). This shoot was focused more on the fashion side compared to the norm of bikini’s, tee’s, and other stuff like that. Kerah was the one who reached out to me and had inspirations of the location of the shoot from popular instagram beauty guru, Flamcis. After showing me the idea, I was all for it since it was basically my style of shooting; on the streets. As you’ll see from the photos and video as you dig deeper into this feature, we shot at 2 of Hawaii’s OG and well known food spots on the island. Although the shoots are always fun, the thing that I was looking forward to the most was eating after the shoot lol. Here’s a hint, after the shoot I HAD TO grab myself a to-go plate of boneless chicken w/ gravy all over!

Forest/Nature Photo Shoot With Caitlin

I wanted to change up the scenery from what the team and I normally do. What I had in mind originally was to do something street (which I love shooting) but I had a feeling the team wanted to shoot something different lol. I had no story line for the shoot, no theme because I couldn’t think of anything. My mind drew blank so it was just a “normal” shoot. Aloha Made Me Do It (AMMDI) – Stone Love Video

AMMDI dropped their latest design, “Stone Love” this past friday 11.10.17. Check out their promo video shot by the homies BSVid & Kshotz. This is a pretty cool design especially that it has the Hawaiian flag incorporated in the tongue. I got the tee in white. Aloha Made Me Do It Coming Out With Rolling Stones Inspired Design. Dropping This Friday!!!

Hawaii’s growing brand, Aloha Made Me Do It, is rolling (stones) out with it’s newest design! Rolling Stones inspired design with the Hawaii flag incorporated in the tongue. This set, we shot the t-shirt and a denim jacket. Pretty rad pieces if you ask me! These are scheduled to drop this coming Friday (11.10.17). HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Kerah & Michaela Terrorizes The Streets

This shoot wasn’t even supposed to happen if Kerah didn’t bring up the idea because originally I had contacted her on a totally different idea. I won’t give away the details of that one because it might end up happening one day so keep a look out. But due to our conflicting schedules, we couldn’t meet eye to eye, so it got pushed back. Originally, I tried scheduling the shoot before leaving to a trip to Bali in September (you can find that post here in my journal), but the date I chose, Kerah already had a shoot reserved for that day, so she suggests pushing it back to October. NEW Model Feature: Jessica Sunok

This is Jessica Sunok. An upcoming model who’s making a name for herself and I should add she’s coming up quick. She’s a winner of both Spocom Anaheim and Tuner Evo Philly bikini competitions. I mean I wouldn’t doubt her winnings. She’s friendly in person and easy going too. She’s hella professional and obviously ain’t a stranger in front of the camera. After the shoot, one of my homie’s that I shoot with, Kalen, brought up the fact that Jessica resembles Selena Gomez. I never thought that before meeting her but after going through and editing her photos, I could see exactly what the homie was talking about lol. So if you ever get to work with Jessica, she’ll be the closest you’d get to meeting Selena Gomez if you don’t ever think you’ll actually meet the real Selena Gomez lol!
