What’s up everybody!

I was in the mood for something light and healthy for dinner and Subway was what my stomach was craving. I got myself a 6″ turkey breast sandwich, a broccoli cheddar soup with some crackers, and my girlfriend didn’t finish all her chips, so…..read more

QUICK Taegu Hand Rolls (Korean Food) | No Talk, Just Eat! | ASMR | Mukbang

What’s good everybody!

I’m back with another food video! Went to our local swap meet over the weekend and found the “Taegu Lady” there. This particular lady makes some bomb Taegu because she’s one of those old (well not old old but I would consider her old) Korean lady’s that seems like she been making traditional Korean food ever since she was a little girl. Many locals seem to know her and she also remembers her regulars when people flock to the swap meet. Now if you have no idea what a swap meet is, it’s basically a flea market. She makes sample hand rolls that she gives out for people to taste and that’s how I knew what I wanted to eat this night.

IF YOU KNOW WHO I’M TALKING ABOUT, LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!

I bought a bag of soft, HOT taegu from her (TAEGU is a popular korean side dish or food which means cod fish in korean) and went to my local Korean supermarket (Palama Market) to pick up Korean seaweed to keep it as authentic as possible lol.

Now you’re supposed to use sushi rice, but when I got home, I looked in the fridge and noticed I ran out of mirin, but had the other ingredients. So I skipped on the sushi rice and just made plain white rice and seasoned it with a little kikkoman shoyu (soy sauce), since the seaweed was already seasoned as well. I didn’t want it too salty or too extra.

Making it is super simple! If you’re using sushi rice, that’s probably the thing that’s gonna take up most of your time to make. But since I used plain white rice, I was able to wrap up 8 or 9 rolls. Now don’t quote me because I forgot how many rolls I made and it might be a different number in the video lol.

But enjoy this video of me making and eating some bomb taegu hand rolls! Shout out to that lady who sells the taegu at the swap meet!

Click here to see the ingredients used to make these hand rolls!

Try this out for yourself and see how you like it and let me know down in the comments how it was!

No Talk, Just Eat! DOMINO’S HOT CHICKEN WINGS

This is me (I say that because I rarely show my face lol)! The dude always behind the camera. I’ll be doing something a little different for the food videos. I’m gonna start doing eating videos. Kind of like an ASMR thing, then eventually, maybe get into ASMR eating more and buy my first mic so you guys can hear EVERYTHING!

But yeah, I’m starting up, “No Talk, Just Eat!” videos.  Basically like I said earlier, it’ll be like ASMR eating until I get more serious with it lol.  For now, it’ll just be me eating my food without talking for those who like watching mukbangs and stuff like that, except I won’t be talking and just eating.  Who likes to talk when they’re super hungry and just wanna eat?  Not me! lol.

I had some left over hot wings from Domino’s from the day before and decided to do an eating video. This is my very first time eating on camera and I noticed I kept looking at my camera screen (my screen can flip out so I can see what’s going on) instead of the lens itself so I have to work on looking at the lens more lol. I cut those parts out where I kept looking at the screen because it was a bit distracting when my eyes keep shifting left and right looking at the screen and lens.

But hope you guys enjoy this video and probably it’ll get you hungry for some chicken wings!

Day 4 Of Japan! Osaka Castle and Last Day In Osaka :(

I finally got some free time to continue working on these! This was officially our last day in Osaka. Beautiful place that was laid back compared to when we went to Tokyo. It was a good thing though that we went to Osaka first instead of Tokyo, because I would’ve probably missed the Tokyo vibe to begin with! lol.

Like I said, Osaka felt like it was more laid back to me and the people there were “nicer” and just had a “homey” feel. If I was to go back to Japan again, I’d definitely go to Osaka first. Or maybe switch it up and go to Tokyo first, then to Osaka. Idk though, who know’s what the next Japan adventure will be.

But this last day, we went to visit the famous Osaka castle but didn’t make it to the top of the castle. We paid our fare to get into the castle, but once we saw the line to go up the elevator to the top, I wasn’t down for that lol. Plus we were on a time schedule to catch our bullet train to Tokyo so we couldn’t waste any time! It was a cool historic place to visit though. Now I can say I been to the famous Osaka Castle lol.

More videos from the Japan trip are sure to come. Keep a look out for those. In the mean time, enjoy this one!

New Year’s Eve 2018 HAWAII STYLE & GLOWING RED BURNOUT!!!!!

It’s become a tradition in Hawaii to light up the sky every NYE, but since fireworks got became illegal (I wanna say circa ’98 – ’99. I can’t remember exactly anymore because it’s been that long), that didn’t put a stop to this “tradition” of ringing in the new year at 12 a.m. midnight.

I also made my last big purchase of 2018 to be a drone because I had been planning on getting one soon anyway and what better time of the year is there to test it out and get some cool footage other than New Year’s Eve?!

As soon as it struck midnight, non stop booming and colorful displays of flashing lights took over the skies, to your old school “reds” popping on the ground, to people burning out, just ringing in the new year as best as they could.

I gotta say, these drone shots came out pretty nuts. Check out the video and let me know what you guys think! I can’t wait for NYE 2019 to roll around!!!!!!!

Braised Italian Chicken

sphoto, sphotohi, sphotohawaii, hawaii, oahu, cooking, how to cook, italian braised chicken, braised chicken, chicken, italian chicken, recipe

What’s going on everybody!

Back again with another food video. This time, I was craving something hearty, something with a thick sauce, and something that would make me feel good after eating it over rice lol. That something was braised italian chicken!

Super simple dish to make with minimal prep work. But once it’s finished cooking, oh boy, you’ll be patting yourself on the back because of how delicious this turned out.

It’s hearty, full of flavor, chicken is fork tender and you can cut it with your fork, and best of all, this probably would’ve cost more at a restaurant, when you have the comfort of making this in your own home.

I served this over rice, because in Hawaii, we eat everything with rice, and I’m asian lol. But seriously, rice in Hawaii accompanies basically any dish. But you can serve this dish over pasta too or whatever else you want as starch, but rice or pasta would be best. A side of garlic bread would’ve paired with this dish perfectly too but I didn’t have any at the time so no garlic bread this time.

Sura Hawaii For Lunch!

What’s good everybody! Here again with a foodie video from one of Hawaii’s popular kbbq spots, Sura! This restaurant originally opened in Honolulu under the name, “678” (for the og’s that remember that name). A decision was made though, in 2016 to split off from that franchise and changed their name to, “Sura”. Despite the name change, they’re still the same, awesome restaurant back when they were called…..continue reading

Day 3 of Japan! Arashiyama Bamboo Grove & Daigoji Temple | Kyoto

What’s good guys! Day 3 finally done. I’ve been busy with other things, but was slowly finishing this video, little by little, everyday. The adventure for this day was to Kyoto again, but we woke up extra early to shoot at the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. It’s sort of like a hike with a view point somewhere up top, but we didn’t make it in that far, as we had a schedule to keep during our stay in Japan.

We woke up super early to beat the crowds and so we wouldn’t have people in our shots. If we waited later to go, this spot would’ve been crowded! It was a nice, cool morning that day too which we enjoyed a lot. So peaceful and calm there.

Then we decided to check out Daigoji Temple. I never knew how far this place was from the train station, but we did majority walking and taking trains. We hardly took any taxi’s to save some money. My feet hurt so back from this day from all the walking lol. But Daigoji Temple covers huge ground from the base of a mountain to the top. There’s a museum and other smaller temples at the base, and as you make your way to the top, you’ll hit Bentendo Hall, which is one of the most photographed buildings there. It’s located next to a relaxing pond. Definitely something worth checking out.

To end the day, we just headed back to our hotel in Shinsaibashi and wanted to see what the night life was like in Dotonbori. I didn’t bring my camera for that because I just wanted to relax and enjoy the vacation for once lol.
